New Delhi: Porn star-turned-Bollywood actress Sunny Leone turned up the heat at the music launch of her forthcoming film, Jackpot, on Saturday. The music album of Jackpot, which has 10 tracks, was released at a glittering event in Mumbai. Budding singer Arijit Singh is the main attraction of the album. He has sung two tracks in the film.
All eyes were on Sunny as she turned up for the event dressed in a white and black ensemble which featured an open front with a short zip panel. The actress tied her hair back in a side- braid to complete the look. The film, which marks the comeback of Boom director Kaizad Gustad, stars veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah and Sachiin Joshi besides the actress.
Gustad was beaming with excitement as he talked about the theme of the film at the event. “It is a fast- paced con thriller with sharp comic one- liners and crazy characters set entirely in Goa against the backdrop of casino boats,” he said. Shah will be seen sporting a quirky look in the film, complete with dreadlocks, as he plays a crazy character in the film while Sunny essays the role of a temptress. The actress made her debut with the Pooja Bhatt- directed Jism 2 , and in this film, she plans to prove her mettle as an actress. “It was a learning process to work in a film directed by Kaizad and which also stars Naseeruddin Shah,” Sunny said.
Joshi, who was last seen in Mumbai Mirror, said the 10 tracks of the film have been received very well by the listeners.Shah, as always, was missing from the music launch. The actor reportedly doesn’t believe much in promoting a film and hence, prefers to stay away from such events. She plays a temptress in her next film, Jackpot, which also stars Naseeruddin Shah.
