New Delhi: Congress had decided to release a document which highlights the achievement of last 10 years of party. This document has been released in a meeting of Parliamentary board which held on Wednesday.
Congress has never made promises that can’t be fulfilled, said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Manmohan Singh also said that Congress has set the agenda for the next 20 years and has addressed complex issues.
Congress Chairperson Sonia Gandhi had also expressed their concern over the inability of Parliament to pass the Women Reservation Bill.
Sonia Gandhi also comment on opposition and said, “Our opponents advocate policies of divisiveness and sectarian interests. They mock our secular ethos. We must not be afraid to speak against those who offer only a narrow and destructive alternative.”
She also said that Congress party will go into the causes of Assembly poll debacle and asked partymen not to be discouraged for the defeat in election in four states.
