New Delhi: Congress Chairperson Sonia Gandhi had nodded for the formation of Joint Coordination Committee for smooth functioning of JMM-led alliance government in Jharkhand.
Sonia Gandhi has given a positive approach to the proposal for constituting the committee. Congress general secretary Janardan Dwivedi said on Tuesday that the committee had been headed by Union Minister Jairam Ramesh.
According to release, the nine-member committee comprises top Congress, JMM and RJD leaders, including BK Hariprasad, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Rajender Singh and Sanjay Singh Yadav. Seven MLAs would be special invitees to the committee.
