TRP MP demanded Rajagopal prosecuted on attempt to murder chargeNew Delhi: TRS demanded his prosecution under the charge of attempt to murder and questioned the intentions behind Lok Sabha member Lagadapati Rajagopal carrying pepper spray to Parliament.

TRS MP Vivekanand said, “He is carrying a lethal weapon to hit the members of Parliament. Why should you carry pepper spray into Parliament? Is it ethical?”

Notify that Rajagopal has been expelled from Congress as he had unleashed a can of pepper spray in Lok Sabha, on Thursday, during the introduction of the Telangana Bill, claiming he had done it in self defence.

Vivekanand argued Rajagopal should have complained to the Speaker if he had any threat from any member in Lok Sabha.

TRS MP alleged the former had sprayed pepper on Speaker and journalists and his action was “unbecoming of a Parliamentarian.”

He also said, “This is not the way a Parliamentarian should behave… He should be criminally prosecuted for attempting to murder Parliamentarians.”
