AAP leaders and Kejriwal’s wife Sunita met the former Delhi chief minister in prison yesterday. A court had on Wednesday sent him to judicial custody for two days after he refused to furnish a bail bond of Rs 10,000 in a defamation case filed by BJP leader Nitin Gadkari, whom Kejriwal called “corrupt”.

We will wait till Friday as whether the court allows him bail, and then will decide our future strategy. We will call our volunteers’ meet and decide,” party leader Gopal Rai said. The party will go to the people of Delhi and tell them about the corrupt deeds of Gadkari, He said.
Talking to reporters, another AAP leader, Prashant Bhushan, had said: “The bail bond is required only when the court feels that an accused can flee. Did the court feel that Kejriwal will run away?
