Rival turn alliance RJD-JD(U) will campaign together for by-pollPatna: The rival parties of Bihar who had turned as alliance after 24 years, RJD-JD(U) in Bihar will campaign together for upcoming by-poll elections for 10 assembly seats

Two former chief ministers of Bihar – JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar and RJD president Lalu Prasad – will be campaigning together.

Bihar JD(U) president Bashishtha Narayan Singh had confirmed that the two will campaign together for the by-poll.

Singh also claimed that the alliance would perform exceedingly well in the assembly by-polls since the BJP-led government at the Centre was fast losing its appeal with the people over inflation and rail fare hike.

The by-poll election had been held on the seats of Chapra, Rajnagar (SC), Mohiuddinagar, Banka, Hajipur, Mohania (SC), Jale, Parbatta, Narkatiaganj and Bhagalpur on August 21.
