Canadian Minister on four day visit of India from 1 SeptemberNew Delhi: Tony Clement, the president of the treasury Board of Canada will undertake a visit of four days of India which start from 1 September.

He had been scheduled to meet with senior government officials and business leaders of New Delhi and Mumbai to explore opportunities to further enhancement of bilateral relationship of India and Canada.

Clement will participate in round-table discussions with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry on opportunities for investment and technology cooperation in the natural resources sector in New Delhi, particularly Ontario’s Ring of Fire.

Clement will attend a round-table with senior officials from the Government of Maharashtra in Mumbai on best practices in public sector reform and management.

Clement will also address at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and the Indian Institute of Public Administration.

Clement said that he is looking forward to his visit to India and to share his experience in public administration.

He also compared the economies of both countries and said that the economies of Canada and India complement each other. He said that he look forward to work with Indian officials and industry to enhance our trade relationship for the benefit of both our countries.
