Violence in Muzaffarnagar after 4 students beaten upMuzaffarnagar: Four students were beaten up by a group of people in Jat colony after which protests spark in Muzaffarnagar.

A group of people had attacked on four students who were going for tuition class last evening after which the trouble started in area.

Police said that people beat them after alleging them for eve-teasing.

The boys were admitted in hospital after police rescued them. Irate protesters laid a siege at a police station demanding action against those who had beaten up the boys.

Police have registered a case against 150 people for the violence and named three of them.

Superintendent of Police Sarvan Kumar said today that some people tried to block the road at Meenakshi Chowk here last evening but additional forces were rushed and the situation brought under control.
