Bangalore: AIADMK chief and Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa may approach Supreme Court on Wednesday for bail as Karnataka High Court had refused to grant bail on Tuesday to her.
Notify that Karnataka High Court had on Tuesday refused her plea saying that there was no sufficient ground for awarding conditional bail to her. The HC cancelled her plea even as the prosecution said that it had no objection to a conditional bail.
Jayalalithaa is in jail since the September 27 after being convicted in the Rs 66.65 crore disproportionate assets case. She has been sentenced to 4 years in jail along with a fine of Rs 100 crore in cash.
