Panaji: Laxmikant Parsekar, the Health Minister of Goa assembly had been elevated to the Chief Minister of Goa after Manohar Parrikar had resigned from its post to join the Cabinet in Central leadership on Sunday.
BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy had announced Laxmikant’s name after party meeting and Laxmikant Parsekar will take oath as CM at 4 PM today.
Notify that Deputy CM of Goa Francis D’Souza had threatened to quit party if he didn’t elevated and except Laxmikant Parsekar and Francis D’Souza Goa Assembly Speaker Rajendra Arlekar too a runner for the post of CM of state.
