New Delhi: A 60-year-old man killed his son with an axe over a petty issue here, police said Monday.
The accused has been arrested. A fight broke out between Mohd Israil and his son Mohd Munavvar over a petty issue Sunday night at their home in south Delhi’s Sangam Vihar area.
Israil slashed Munavvar’s neck with an axe and fled from the scene. Family members rushed Munavvar to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. Police said they later arrested Israil from the house.
