2 suspected #terrorists arrested in #Noida of U.P.#NewDelhi: Uttar Pradesh police had arrested two suspected terrorists including a Bangladeshi national from the National Capital Region (NCR).

The two suspected had been identified as Rakatullah and Abdul Aziz.

Police sources said that “jihadi materials” had been contained in the laptop of the suspects. Police revealed after interrogation that they were “part of sleeper cell”.

Sources said that the arrests were made on December 19 from Noida on Delhi border in a joint operation by anti-terror squads of Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal and Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Police were still carrying out searches in different areas of Delhi and Noida looking out for more terrorists.

Notify that Government had made a high alert in all state of India in the wake of Republic Day eve in which President of United States Barack Obama invited.

To tighten the security and for safety, all intelligence agency had been keeping its eye on each activity.

Sources from Intelligence said that more than 50 terror modules have been operating out of West Bengal. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had conducted several raids in Bengal last year in search of JMB terrorists and their local aides and had made some arrests after the state police failed to act against them.

In their interrogation by the IB and the Research and Analysis Wing, it had emerged that the JMB was plotting bombing in many Indian cities.
