I want #PCC chief #Pratap Singh Bajwa to be replaced: Captain #Amarinder Singh

I want #PCC chief #Pratap Singh Bajwa to be replaced: Captain #Amarinder Singh #Chandigarh : Senior #INC Leader and #MP   Captain #Amarinder  Singh claimed that he was not interested in the leadership of the state committee, but would like Congress to have a leader who would stay true to fulfilling the expectations of the people and take the wheel for the 2017 elections in the state.

When asked about the Punjab deputy chief minister’s comment about internal feuds, Amarinder Singh said that the Shiromani Akali Dal leader should worry about the state where issues like drugs and increasing unemployment need to be addressed. He also said that the 2017 elections in the state would see a triangular fight if the BJP decides to fight independently. “Sukhbir Singh Badal will know his standing, if the #BJP takes back support,” he said.

#Amarinder Singh also added that the #BJP should not talk about the drugs issue when they are in coalition with the very people involved in the matter.
Dismissing the rumours of a move to the #BJP he said, “All talks about taking 31 #MLAs and joining the #BJP are cooked up by the media. I have been a happy follower under the 16-year leadership of  Smt.  #Sonia Gandhi. #Rahul Gandhi is learning on the job. But if #Priyanka Gandhi joins politics, together they can do better,” he said.

#Punjab goes to polls in January 2017. Congress has successively lost to the #SAD- #BJP combine in the previous two assembly polls. Singh, who is also Congress’ deputy leader in #LokSabha, was virtually absent in the Winter session of #Parliament and could be replaced.
