Bangalore: Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah had slams on National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Amit Shah and said that he does not have any moral right to speak about the Congress.
In a caustically remark, Siddaramaiah said, “Bharatiya Janata Party’s national president Amit Shah does not have any moral right to speak about the Congress.”
On the sideline of 12th Chitra Santhe on Sunday, he said it in response to the recent statement of BJP’s Shah against the Congress-led State government.
Notify that Shah had accused the Congress of indulging in misrule.
The Chief Minister dismissed the accusation and said that Mr. Shah, who was himself an accused in a fake encounter case, was discharged due to the “blessings” of the Central Bureau of Investigation.
He also said, “The BJP does not have any moral right to level charges against the Congress. Many BJP leaders have gone to jail over corruption charges and some are still in prison. This is the BJP’s history.”
