#Cricket #WorldCup2015: #PCB calls back #MoinKhanChristchurch: Pakistan Cricket Board had ordered Moin Khan to return home to give an account of himself following an alleged visit to a casino in Christchurch two days prior to the match against West Indies.

According to AFP, an official investigation has been launched against the former captain, and will be headed by Naveed Cheema, the team manager.

PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan had sharp words for the selector and calls the act “inappropriate” in light of the team’s poor run of form.

Khan in Lahore said that strict action would be taken should he be found guilty of the allegations. However, no decisions would be taken in haste.

He said, “We will not make anybody a scapegoat and will investigate this incident before taking any action.”

The incident came to light when a couple caught Moin on camera at the casino, ahead of the team’s 150-run defeat to West Indies.

Meanwhile, in another off-field distraction, Younis Khan, the out-of-form batsman, on Wednesday was forced to deny reports that he planned to retire from One-Day Internationals after the World Cup.

A tweet supposedly from his official social media account indicated he would retire, but Younis insisted the story was false.

He said, “I have no Twitter account. I am working hard to come good in batting and have not decided anything like that.”

Pakistan next play Zimbabwe on March 1 in Brisbane.
