Srinagar: Security personnel had killed two terrorists in encounter in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
Notify that security forces had been informed for the presence of terrorists in Thak-Gund village of Sopore.
Police spokesperson said that a joint team of army and police had begun search operation this morning after being informed.
As the security forces were conducting the search operation, the hiding terrorists opened fire on them triggering an encounter in which two militants were killed.
The spokesman said the identity and group affiliation of the slain terrorists are awaited as the search operation was still in progress.
