Melbourne: A winning start can create wonders and Indian players are slowly realising that. Leaving the gloomy days behind, the Indians started their World Cup campaign with a win against Pakistan. And now before their crucial Group B match against South Africa, Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s men prefer to stay away from the field. After a gruelling training session on Wednesday, the cricketers took a day off.
While his teammates were busy shopping, Indian vice-captain Virat Kohli visited the famous salon Tony&Guy for a haircut. And as the star cricketer came out of the salon, his teammates and fans were surprised to see his brand new hairstyle. Drawing resemblance to Cristiano Ronaldo’s hairstyle, Virat’s new look has already become a talking point in this World Cup.
Sporting a black tee, Virat left the team hotel in a cab and took a walk in the Melbourne Street before reaching the salon. And after a few hours, the Indian vice-captain comes out in a different avatar. After a good start to the tournament, Virat hopes to keep the momentum going. The Indians will be starting the practice session again on Friday to fine tune their plans and strategies for the mega match against AB de Villiers’men.
