#AAP #MLAs write letter to #CMKejriwal, seek removal of #Yadav and #BhushanNew Delhi: Top leaders of Aam Aadmi Party today launched a ‘signature drive’, asking its all 67 MLAs to sign ‘voluntarily’ on a two-page letter addressed to the party convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The move seeks to remove Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan from the party. Senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh has reacted on the letter written by AAP MLAs. He said, “Party will think about it, can’t say what the decision will be.

AAP leaders Shanti Bhushan, Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav have been accused of conspiring to party’s defeat and maligning the image of Arvind Kejriwal.  Yogendra Yadav, however, on Tuesday, hit back at the party leadership, accusing it of forcing Delhi MLAs to sign papers against him and Prashant Bhushan and said the country would know the “whole truth” very soon.

Yadav challenged the party leadership to make it response to the allegations public. His statement comes in the backdrop of allegations by the party top brass– Manish Sisodia, Gopal Rai, Pankaj Gupta and Sanjay Singh– that the duo along with Shanti Bhushan worked for the party’s defeat and maligned the image of Arvind Kejriwal.

Also, in a first official statement by top party leaders since the infighting came out in the open, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Transport Minister Gopal Rai, party general secretary Pankaj Gupta and Sanjay Singh defended the national executive’s decision to oust Prashant and Yadav from the AAP’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC).

Prashant and Yadav were voted out from the PAC last week. The proposal to drop the two was introduced by Sisodia, seconded by Singh and supported by nine others including Gupta and Rai.  Though, AAP leaders have claimed the party has ample evidence that Yadav tried to malign Kejriwal’s image and tried to portray a negative side of the organization.
