New Delhi: The Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL) will be celebrating National Technology Day today to commemorate the anniversary of Shakti, the Pokhran nuclear test, held on May 11, 1998. PM Narendra Modi has also greeted the nation on national technology day.
PM Modi said, Greetings to my fellow Indians on the occasion of National Technology Day. Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan,” the Prime Minister said.
The day glorifies the importance of science in day-to-day life and motivates students to adopt science as a career option. On the occasion, the DFRL has organised an exhibition for public showcasing products and technologies recently developed by the laboratory. The DFRL will be open for public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m today.
