CBSE to hold CTET Sepember 2015 exam across the country on SundayNew Delhi: Just three days are left to go for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), which will be held across the country on September 20 (Sunday). CTET is conducted twice every year by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Admit cards for CTET September 2015 examination are already available online. Candidates who have applied for the CTET September 2015 examination but have still not downloaded their admit cards can do so today itself from the following website:

Candidates will need to key in their registration number and date of birth to access the admit cards. Qualification in CTET or TET (Teacher Eligibility Test ) conducted by states is mandatory for candidates to be appointed as teachers for class I to VIII in government schools.

CTET has been divided into two parts: Paper-I for candidates aspiring to be appointed teachers in classes I to V, and Paper-II for appointment in classes VI to VIII. Paper-I will be conducted on September 20 from 2 pm to 4.30 pm, while paper-II will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12 noon.

A candidate is required to reach the exam centre 90 minutes prior to the start of the exam. As per CBSE, the validity period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment is seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.
