New Delhi: Bollywood famous music composer cum singer Aadesh Shrivastava is battling for life as his cancer scare has relapsed. Aadesh has been admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai for the last 44 days and is undergoing treatment there.
“Aadesh is in hospital for the last 41 days. His cancer has relapsed. It is growing at a rapid stage. He is right now in critical condition… He is serious. The injections of new technology that were brought from America have not worked much on him,” Aadesh’s brother-in-law and composer Lalit Pandit, from the Jatin-Lalit duo, said. Blood palates are low so that reduces the chance of surgery. The doctors are trying their best,” he said. I am with the family in the hospital. We are praying for him,” he added.
Aadesh’s brother-in-law and composer Lalit Pandit was earlier quoted as saying that “Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) has been keeping a check on his health regularly over phone. He has been very helpful. Besides, Shah Rukh Khan had come to visit him. Tina Ambani has visited twice, she is taking special attention”.
According to Indian Express website, after superstar Shah Rukh Khan visited him in hospital, Bachchan bahu Aishwarya too came to meet him and wished him well. Many celebs have been checking on his well-being, as producer Ramesh Taurani too was seen visiting him at the hospital.
People from music industry like Shaan, Sonu Nigam, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan also visit him regularly. Also Shekar Kapur, Govind Nihalani, Poonam Dhillon and others had come to see him, he said.
When contacted, a senior doctor at the hospital refused to give details, stating “the family has requested for privacy”. Aadesh has composed music for films like “Chalte Chalte”, “Baabul”, “Baghban”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham”, “Raajneeti” among others.
