Mumbai: Bigg Boss 8 contestant Dimpy Ganguly is all set to start a new phase in her life. The Bengali beauty got engaged to Dubai-based businessman Rohit Roy. The two have been seeing each other for more than two years now. Dimpy announced her engagement on Instagram and Twitter with a picture of a Tiffany ring. She wrote: We have heard that the engaged couple is getting married on 27 November in Kolkata.
The reality star, who was earlier married to Rahul Mahajan, got officially divorced in February this year. Rahul and Dimpy got married on TV in 2010 after Rahul chose Dimpy as his life partner amongst 10 hopefuls on a reality show called Rahul Dulhania Le Jayega, but the relationship soured soon. At one point Dimpy had also accused Rahul of domestic violence but the couple patched up after that, only to part ways in 2013.
They came into the limelight again when they participated in Bigg Boss 8 where they were seen warming up to each other. Here’s wishing her a happy life ahead!
