Mumbai: Sooraj Barjatya has cleanly swept the audience once again by portraying Salman Khan as Prem in the latest release ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. There is a massive buzz about the movie and the actor’s fans, which had pre booked tickets for the film well in advance have been going gaga over it.
‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, which released on Thursday made a whopping Rs. 40.35 crore on the first day at the box office which broke all highest opening day grosser records.
The second day proved to be a smashing success for the film as it beat previous records of Salman Khan Films like ‘Kick’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ as it earned Rs. 31.03 crore.
And the collections are inching close to the Rs. 100 crore marks. In mere two days of its release ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ earned Rs. 71.38 crores. A terrific beginning for any film in the industry, families come out smiling after watching the film
Salman Khan, who had been seen fighting the villains in his previous movies like ‘Kick’, ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ has been accepted well as the innocent family guy as well. The aura of Prem still remains intact.
Starring Sonam Kapoor opposite Salman, Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ also features Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar and Anupam Kher in important roles.
