It was finally captured from near air force headquarters.
A blue bull (nilgai) was spotted at the highly secure Vijay Chowk near Parliament in New Delhi today morning sending the security staff into a tizzy.
The animal was first spotted roaming around the gardens very close to the Parliament building. It then strayed onto the road criss-crossing the traffic.
Amid the chaos, the bull dashed into a PCR van damaging the windscreen and rear view mirror of the vehicle.
A police team present on the spot tried to capture the animal but failed. By the time a forest department team armed with tranquilisers arrived at the spot, the nilgai had strayed further down the Rajpath.
The bull then dodged a wildlife SOS team and ran away towards the India Gate.
Finally, it was captured from near the air force headquarters – Vayu Sena Bhawan.
