#Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Last set of files to be released today#NewDelhi : The last set of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose-related files will be released today. The National Archives of India will release 25 files and put them in public domain.
There are about 25 declassified files which will be made accessible to the public today. Of the total batch of 25, there are about 7 PMO files from 1951-2000, 4 Home Ministry files from 2000-2008 and 14 files belonging to Ministry of External Affairs between 1968 and 1998.

On Thursday, several meetings were held in the Culture Ministry on whether or not to release a certain file dating to Indira Gandhi’s rule which has some crucial papers missing.

The first lot of 100 files relating to Netaji was put by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 23rd January this year on the 119th birth anniversary of Netaji.

The release of these files will further meet the continued public demand to access these files and this will also facilitate scholars to carry out further research on the doyen of the freedom movement.
