New Delhi: After India’s successful surgical strikes, the whole social media was flooded with congratulatory messages for Indian Army and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Musician Adnan Sami also lauded the efforts of our brave soldiers online.
He tweeted, “Big Congratulations to @PMOIndia & our brave Armed forces for a brilliant, successful & mature strategic strike against#terrorism ! #Salute and “Pakistanis r outraged by my earlier tweet. Their outburst clearly means they see Terrorist & Pakistan as the same! #selfgoal#stopterrorism.”
But, at that time, he had no idea that his Internet posts will attract a lot of negative comments. After tweeting praises for Indian security personnel, Adnan faced a huge backlash from Pakistan lovers.
India on Wednesday carried out surgical strikes on terror launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir inflicting “significant casualties”.
This came after the September 18 cross-border terror attack on an Indian Army camp at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir that claimed the lives of 19 soldiers.
India has blamed the Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed for the attack.
