Bihar assembly election notification may be issue on September 20, voting may be in 2-3 steps: sourcesPatna: Guidelines for the Bihar assembly elections 2020 may be issued on Friday. According to sources say that elections can be held in 2-3 phases.  It is believed that by the end of November, elections will be held in Bihar.  Sources also say that the possibility of holding elections in Bihar by imposing President’s rule is being dismissed.  Sources say that there is an ongoing discussion among the Election Commission that voting in Bihar should be conducted in two-three phases.  In such a situation, there is a possibility that if elections are held in two or three phases, then its announcement may be delayed. The 2015 assembly election was announced on 9 September 2015.  During that time elections were held in six phases in Bihar elections.
 
Notification to be issue by 20 September
 
According to Sources say that the Election Commission of India’s may issue notification of election on 20 September or around the same date.  A detailed guideline on how to handle the voting process in the Corona epidemic period can be issued.  That guideline may be released by Friday evening.  The Election Commission has held long talks regarding the guidelines.
 
Election commission will meet with all DM of Bihar
 
According to Sources say that the meeting will begin in the office of the Election Commission in Delhi on Friday afternoon about the Bihar election.  Detailed guidelines can be stamped in this. The guidelines will have detailed information on the manner of campaigning, voting procedure for the elderly, etc.  Sources also say that on Monday, the Election Commission can hold a meeting with all the district collectors of Bihar through video conferencing.
 
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar also gave indications of elections 2020 to be held on time.
 
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Ji had also hinted on Thursday on the occasion of the foundation stone and inauguration of several projects that the Bihar assembly elections 2020 may be announced in September.
 
It is known that Maha Gathbandhan  RJD, Congress and JDU came together in the 2015 Bihar assembly elections.  Whereas they were a coalition of BJP + LJP + RLSP + HAM.  The RJD + JDU & Congress alliance won a landslide victory in the Bihar assembly  election 2015.  However, after about a year, CM Nitish Kumar broke the alliance and is running the government with the BJP.
 
In the assembly elections this year, the BJP + JDU + LJP + HAM may try their luck in the alliance.  On the other hand, RJD+ Congress + RLSP may present a challenge. according to present scenario.
