Shining India Exit Poll: DMK to retain power after 10 years in Tamil Nadu

Chennai: Exit Poll survey of Tamil Nadu stated Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) to retain power after
10 years of sitting in opposition in State Assembly of Tamil Nadu. The exit poll also predicts the huge loss
of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) this 2021 assembly Election.
According to Exit poll report of Tamil Nadu, Shining India Survey predicts clear victory for DMK.
The assembly election of Tamil Nadu had already been conducted on April 6, 2021.
According to the survey of Exit poll that had been gathered by Shining India News Group, the ruling
party AIADMK alliance is expected to win 70 seats of 234 seats. In 2016 elections, AIADMK registered
victory over 136 seats.
The DMK alliance is expected to win 162 Seats and rise as major party that will hold the assembly in its
regime. Notable that DMK, in 2016 register victory on 89 seats and now its alliance is gaining power.
Other party like MNM is winning 1 seat.

There are total 33 seats that will be witness of neck to neck fight.

Party wise vote share projection

DMK+: 49.1% +-3%
AIADMK+: 42.8% +-3%
MNM: 3.4% +-1%
AMMK: 1.6% +-1%
NTK: 1.3% +-1%
OTH: 1.8% +-1%

Party wise Seat share projection:

DMK+: 162 +-15
AIADMK+: 70 +-11
MNM: 1 +-1

Shining India Research & Analysis along with Shining India News had conducted a wide range Exit Poll
survey to know the anti-incumbency of the voter's ahead of the decisive assembly election 2021 in state.

The Exit poll was conducted with the sample size of 48582 voters of all age group, caste, gender and
community.
