#AAP chief #ArvindKejriwal meets #Union #Minister #Venkaiah #Naidu, to meet #PM #Modi by tomorrowNew Delhi: AAP chief and Delhi CM designate Arvind Kejriwal had met with Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday at Nirman Bhawan of Delhi.

Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia said over the meeting that Kejriwal had discussed issues of land availability for schools, colleges, housing, parking spaces etc with Union Minister Naidu.

Sisodia also said that Kejriwal had spoken to Naidu about full statehood for Delhi.

Over the course of Wednesday, Kejriwal is expected to meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss issues of law and order – particularly women’s security – in the Delhi, a city notorious for high incidence of crimes against women.

It has been expected that Kejriwal to meet PM Modi on Thursday to invite the latter for his swearing-in ceremony at Ramleela Maidan on February 14.

Modi though has a meeting with NCP chief Sharad Pawar on the same day, so his presence at the ceremony may be under doubt.

The Union Cabinet as well as Kiran Bedi, former CM of Delhi Sheila Dikshit and Anna Hazare are also likely to get an invitation for the swearing in apart from PM Modi.

It had been reported that AAP will also hold a big road show before the swearing in, in an apparent show of strength and to mobilize the common public for the swearing-in.

Notify that AAP had won 67 out of 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections on Tuesday. Meanwhile BJP had managed only on 3.
