Shivpal said ,”Hum sab neta ji ke saath hain (We all are with neta ji Mulayam Singh Yadav) but  he did not mention the name of Chief Minister Akhilesh YadavNew Delhi: A  power struggle broke out in Uttar Pradesh between Akhilesh Yadav and former minister Shivpal Singh Yadav earlier this week, and now it has spun out of control.
Shivpal Singh Yadav meets his elder brother and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav. The meet ended in 7 minutes. According to reports, Mulayam has rejected Shivpal’s resignation as party president.

Sources as saying that Shivpal wants Mulayam to remove Akhilesh and Ram Gopal as he is not interested in mere holding onto portfolios. However, Akhilesh Yadav wants to settle leadership issue once and for all within the Samajwadi Party and may agree to return the portfolios.

Mulayam Singh Yadav will today chair a parliamentary board meeting of the Samajwadi Party in Lucknow to put an end to the fight between his son Akhilesh Yadav and brother Shivpal.

Shivpal is flanked by sacked Mining Minister Gayatri Prajapati and son Aditya Yadav, who has also resigned as Pradesh Cooperative Federation chairman in support of his father.

Shivpal adds that for him an indication of Mulayam Singh Yadav was an order and he would go by the party chief`s decision in any situation. “Hum har paristhithi main netaji ke saath hain aur rahenge, unka ishaara hamare liye aadesh hai.”
Addressing a gathering of supporters camping outside his official residence, Yadav says: “Hum sab neta ji ke saath hain (We all are with neta ji).” He did not mention the name of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
Senior Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav tells his supporters in Lucknow that he will support Mulayam Singh Yadav in any condition, and they should not indulge in any activity that damages the party image.

Mulayam Singh Yadav was engaged in fire-fighting on Thursday night as the leader tried to thrash out an amicable solution to the biggest crisis of his personal life and political career.

A power struggle broke out in Uttar Pradesh between Akhilesh Yadav and former minister Shivpal Singh Yadav earlier this week, and now it has spun out of control.
