Khemka being offered the CM candidate of AAP

KhemkaNew Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party had offered senior IAS officer Ashok Khemka to be the face of party and being the Chief Minister candidate for Haryana Assembly election which has been scheduled for next year in 2014.

The national executive of AAP, Naveen Jaihind, said that Ashok Khemka is regarded as an upright and honest officer and party is ready to declare him its chief ministerial candidate for Haryana Assembly elections.

Jaihind said, “Our next goal is Haryana where we have already started political activities. AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal has asked Khemka to join the party. Our party will get a boost in the state if Khemka joins the party.”

“Kejriwal had invited Khemka to join the party. I have not met him personally. So far we have not received any response from him,” added Jaihind.
