CM Vijay Holds High-Level Meeting With CII Leaders on Industrial Growth and Investment in Tamil Nadu

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay on Friday held a high-level meeting at the State Secretariat with senior representatives of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to discuss industrial growth, investment promotion and long-term economic development in the state.

The meeting was attended by several senior CII office-bearers, including South Region Chairman P. Ravichandran, Tamil Nadu Chairman C. Devarajan, Vice Chairman J. Murugavel, former South Region Chairman M. Ponnusamy, former Tamil Nadu Chairman Shankar Vanavarayar and Tamil Nadu Director P. Jayakrishnan, along with other industry representatives.

According to official information, detailed discussions were held regarding strengthening the long-standing partnership between the Tamil Nadu government and the Confederation of Indian Industry in areas related to industrial development, policy support and investment facilitation.

The meeting also focused on improving ease of doing business, creating an investor-friendly environment and supporting Tamil Nadu’s long-term vision for sustainable economic and industrial growth.

Observers believe the discussions reflect Chief Minister Vijay’s increasing focus on governance, economic reforms and employment-oriented development. Industry representatives reportedly appreciated the state government’s willingness to engage with stakeholders and promote a progressive industrial ecosystem.

Under the leadership of Vijay, Tamil Nadu is expected to continue strengthening its position as one of India’s leading industrial and investment destinations.
