“Former IAS officer Divya Mittal has made a major announcement regarding her political innings. She has announced the formation of a new political party named ‘Jan Niti Bharat’. This party will contest the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Divya Mittal stated that the problem is not a lack of politics, but rather that the people are not being heard. She identified public participation, need-based decision-making, and accountability as the foundation of her political ideology.”
“In a video message, Divya Mittal shared that after speaking about entry into politics last time, she had shared a contact number to connect with people. It received so many messages that WhatsApp blocked the number. She stated that she had not anticipated such a massive public response. She also apologized for the inconvenience caused to people due to the lack of proper management for it.”
“Referring to the people’s response, she stated that she felt as if she were standing with a lamp before the sun, whereas she only needed to open the window. Through this statement, she shared her experience regarding public participation and support.”
“The party will be based on three pledges
Divya Mittal outlined three key pledges for ‘Jan Niti Bharat’. First, the public will be at the center of the country’s policies, and policies will be determined through public participation. Second, decisions will be made based on need, not on anyone’s identity. Third, accountability to the public will be fixed for every task, and improvements will be made based on it.
She stated that the party’s objective is to create a system where the government works in alignment with the needs and expectations of the public. Along with the announcement to contest the 2027 assembly elections, she has also made her political direction clear.”
