Ranchi: Former union minister and party leader Yashwant Sinha on Wednesday was granted bail, days after he was arrested for leading a demonstration against the poor power scenario in Jharkhand. After meeting Sinha, Advani had felt the latter should play a bigger role in the state.
Sinha was arrested on June 02 and was produced in court on June 03 and sent to judicial custody after he refused to furnish a bail bond. His judicial custody was on Monday extended till June 28.
Central BJP leaders like Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Shahnawaz Hussain met Sinha in jail last Thursday.
