Islamabad: Reports claimed on Saturday that Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) had organized a rally in Pakistan and condemned the firing from Indian troops along Line of Control (LoC) and demand from government of Pakistan to declare a jihad against India.
Notify that several JuD workers had gathered on Friday at the Karachi Press Club to denounce what they called Indian aggression that claimed lives of several innocent Pakistani citizens.
The participants in the rally were carrying banners and placards inscribed with the demand to wage jihad against India, shouted slogans and vowed to lay down their lives to defend their country.
Muzammil Iqbal Hashmi, chief of Karachi’s JuD said that terrorism on the Sialkot boundary was part of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policy of aggression, as he wanted to take advantage of Pakistan’s internal problems.
He said, “India should know that every citizen of Pakistan is ready to sacrifice his life for the protection of his country.”
He also said that the whole nation was behind the armed forces in their action to counter Indian aggression.
