Bihar: JDU leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today tendered his resignation to the state governor. As per news channel reports, Kumar has requested the governor to dissolve the state assembly as well. Nitish Kumar went to Bihar Governor Dr. Dnyandeo Yashwantrao Patil and tendered his resignation.
He has also recommended dissolution of Bihar Assembly where his government was in minority and had been surviving on the support of Congress, Communist Party of India and Independent MLAs.
JDU MLA from Barh, who had questioned Nitish Kumar’s decision to break the 17-year-old alliance with the BJP in June 2013, Gyanendra Singh Gyanu said several party leaders and workers were angry with the Bihar Chief Minister for breaking away from BJP.
