Narendra Modi started its campaign for 2014 from Mumbai

Mumbai: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi reached Mumbai to unveil his agenda for the 2014 General Election on Thursday. Narendra Modi Had selected Mumbai to start his campaign for 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Few days before, He had been selected as a chief of Election Campaign Committee for BJP for 2014 Lok Sabha polls. It is the first visit of Narendra Modi after his elevation in party.

Narendra Modi will address a CII conclave at Hotel Taj Mahal and release a book at the Bombay Stock Exchange auditorium at Dalal Street.

RSS ideologue Vinay Sahsrabuddhe said while talking with media, “Modiji has chosen Mumbai to unveil his agenda for good governance.”

Mumbai BJP chief, Ashish Shelar said, “Since Mumbai is admired the world over for its grit and entrepreneurial skills. It is perfectly appropriate that Mumbai should be Modiji’s first stop before he goes on his countrywide trek.”

It is also known as Narendra Modi began his nationwide campaign from Punjab by addressing his first rally outside Gujarat few days before, after his appointment as BJP campaign committee chief, at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Memorial in Pathankot on June 23.

Narendra Modi is also trying to improve his relation with Shiv Sena. After the political divorce of JDU from BJP, now Modi didn’t want any of his alliance party to withdraw its alliance with BJP on any issue.
