BhopalA 30-year-old woman who was attending to her sick daughter at a hospital in Madhya Pradesh’s Hoshangabab was allegedly raped by a hospital employee. : The woman was raped on Saturday. Two people including a security guard have been arrested. The rape survivor was attending to her eight-year-old daughter who was admitted with abdominal pain for the past six days.
The woman told the police that on October 19 at 11.30 pm she went out of the ward to the washroom and as she came out, one of the accused gagged her and the two dragged her to an adjacent under-construction building where she was raped. It was after her husband returned at around midnight that the woman told him and a complaint was made to the officials. A police officer said, “Both the accused Aditya Badgujar (20) who works as security guard at the hospital and wardboy Deepak Manjhi (28) have been arrested and booked. Badgujar raped the woman while Manjhi helped him, he said.
