AAP recognize as state party: Election Commission

wpid-IMG_135029329121597New Delhi: Election Commission had given the recognition to Aam Aadmi Party as a state party and had reserved the symbol of broom in Delhi on the basis of the performance of party in Delhi Assembly elections.

Notify that AAP had won 28 seats in the Assembly election in Delhi and had come up with the second biggest party in Delhi after BJP which get 31 seats.

According to the norms, a party has to be recognized by Election Commission, if it get at least 3% seats which subject to a minimum of three seats and at least 6% of total valid votes.

The recognition of AAP had came Thursday evening after it fulfill the laid criterion in the process on whether to form government with the support of Congress or not in Delhi.
