BJP take dig over Aam Aadmi Party

Arun JaitleyRampur: As the uncertainty of forming of government of Delhi going on, a leader of BJP has take a dig on Arvind Kejriwal’s party as “Aam-Amrud Party” as a party of fruits. As the result of Delhi assembly election comes out, Aam Aadmi Party has come up with second major party of Delhi.

Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley also accused to AAP of shying away from any bid to form a government to avoid the responsibility of fulfilling its “unrealistic promises.”

BJP spokesperson Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said on Tuesday, “An Aam-Amrud party has sprung up… they say they will stop Narendra Modi and the BJP… the people of Delhi have given you a thumbs-up but this seems to have gone to your head… it almost seems that a miracle has happened in Indian politics.”

Senior leaders of the BJP – which fell short of the numbers to form a government despite emerging the leading party in Delhi after 15 years – have acknowledged the power of the year-old party that seems to have stolen its thunder.

Aam Aadmi Party had won 28 seats in Delhi assembly election and become the second largest party of Delhi while BJP had come up with maximum seats of 31 and just five seats away from majority to make government.

Notify that Congress had mocked Kejriwal’s party offering to back the party. Raj Babbar, Congress leader said on Tuesday that Kejriwal should join hands with BJP to fulfill the promises made by them.

BJP has refused to stake claim to power after sensing the mood of voters who are responding to the AAP.
