Sanjay Dutt leaves Yerawada jail on a month’s parole

Dutt SanjayMumbai: Sanjay Dutt has left Yerawada Jail of Pune as he has been granted the leave for 1 month on parole. He has been granted leave earlier this month.

Notify that Sanjay Dutt has filed an application on behalf of his wife Maanyata’s illness and his parole has been granted. But Maanyata had been sited on two separate events at same time which had generated a controversy and invited protests from activists.

Later, a doctor had examined her and certified that she has been diagnosed with tumour in the liver and a suspected heart ailment.

Sanjay Dutt had already granted two weeks medical leave on October 1 and an extension of another two weeks on October 14.

Sanjay Dutt had surrendered in a TADA court in Mumbai in May after the Supreme Court had delivered a final verdict on the Sanjay Dutt in a bomb blasts that ripped in 1993. Court had sentenced to six years in jail in 2007 but court had reduced a year.

As he had already served for 18 months in jail, he was again sent to jail to serve the remaining 42 months of the term of five year.
