Telangana issue create din in AP Assembly

AP AssemblyHyderabad: Members of Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh from coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema strongly opposed the formation of new state of Telangana and did not allow proceedings which leads to adjournment of the House twice on Wednesday and as a result discussion on the drift Telangana Bill could not taken up.

MLAs of TDP and YSR Congress from Seemaandhra demanded that the House first pass a resolution to oppose the separation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh. They also raised slogans against the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill-2013 and demanded.

The Speaker of Assembly Nadendla Manohar had rejected the adjournment motions which was moved by TDP, YSRC and CPI and adjourned the proceeding for an hour. After the break of 75 minutes, noise scenes continued which force the Speaker to adjourn the proceedings for another hour the second time.
