Gandhi Nagar: Metropolitan Magistrate rejected the plea of Zakia Jafri and give clean chit to the PM
candidate of BJP, Narendra Modi. Zakia Jafri had filed a plea against the clean chit given by Special
Investigative Team to Gujarat CM Narendra Modi on 2002 Gujarat riots.
Notify that Magistrate BJ Ganatra had previously deliver the order on 28 October, but it was deferred to 2
December and then to December 26.
SIT had submitted its report on 8 February 2012 and give clean chit to Modi in 2002 riots of Gujarat.
The former Congress MP Ehsan Jafri was also among 69 people who had been killed in Gulbarg Society
assassination during 2002 riots. Zakia Jafri is the wife of Ehsan Jafri.
Zakia Jafri had filed her petition against the report of SIT seeking its rejection and order to file case against
Narendra Modi and others role in riots.
