Narendra Modi to address 185 Bharat Vijay rallies todayNew Delhi: BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi will address over 185 rallies covering 295 Lok Sabha constituencies in the next week, party sources said. Despite other leaders joining, the focus on BJP’s campaign is centered on Modi. Modi’s rallies have been termed as Bharat Vijay Rallies.

Apart from BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, party president Rajnath Singh will also address about 155 to 160 election rallies. Senior leaders L K Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and M M Joshi, along with Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Goa will also be roped in for the campaigning.

Interestingly, Modi will begin second part of his election campaign on March 26 from Jammu after visiting Vaisnodevi temple. Earlier, he had begun his campaign from Madhopur in Jammu in June last year.

The party conceptualised the campaign in a professional manner and even putting emphasis on preparing standard banners, logo and practices so that the objective, messaging and theme of the rallies remain constant.

Bharat Vijay rallies will be remarkably different from traditional rallies in terms of attracting masses and communicating with them. Rallies will spread the party’s message and vision even after the culmination of the rally via specially designed pamphlets and CDs – that will contain the synopsis of Narendra Modi’s speech.

BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, Voters will receive a personalized invitation letter signed by Modi. Using a combination of social media and other communication mediums, such as television and mobile phones, voters in the relevant constituencies shall be intimated sufficiently in advance for a Bharat Vijay Rally.

Party has also prepared ‘Namo Mantra’ cards, presenting Modi’s solutions to some critical issues facing the country. Another feature of funds collection would be that donation boxes would fitted with GPS to track its movement and prevent pilferage.
