Modi elected as leader of BJP Parliamentary Party meeting New Delhi: Narendra Modi elected as the leader of the BJP Parliamentary party. All the senior BJP leaders are now in the process of giving their support to Advani’s proposal for making Modi the BJP Parliamentary party leaders.

Venkaiah Naidu seconds Modi’s name for the BJP Parliamentary party meeting, calls him a darling of the masses.

Murli Manohar Joshi said, I support Advani’s proposal to make Narendra Modi the BJP Parliamentary party leader. LK Advani proposes Narendra Modi’s name for the leader of BJP Parliamentary party.

Because the party has already decided who we project as the leader for our party, I will name that person only, said LK Advani.

Rajnath Singh invites the name for the BJP parliamentary party leader. MPs hail Modi’s entry into the central hall of Parliament. Manohar Parrikar said, Modi needs to be given a reasonable time to build his own team: In Mumbai, the NCP is likely to meet today to discuss their recent poll debacle. The Sharad Pawar led party had won only 4 out of the 48 seats in Maharashtra.

Narendra Modi will hold a farewell rally today in Maninagar in Gujarat, a constituency that he had represented three terms in his political career. He will also address a public meeting in Maninagr this evening.
