Government denies reports of snooping on Nitin GadkariNew Delhi: The NDA government had rejected the reports of snooping on Road Transport and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari and claimed then false.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had called the bugging report ‘speculative’ after an uproar in Parliament over the issue on Wednesday.

Singh said, “There is no truth in media reports about bugging. No complaint has been lodged by anyone in this regard. No high powered bugging devices were put in Gadkari’s house according to reports.”

Gadkari had also rejected the reports of media which are claiming listening devices were found in his house. He labelled the reports false and baseless.

The statement from NDA government had came after the Opposition parties uproar in Parliament and Congress, Samajwadi Party and JD-U had presented the notice for the suspension of Question Hour in Parliament.
