Thane: Police had arrested a coaching class tutor for allegedly molesting a teenage girl student in Thane.
ASI Mhaske of Virar police station said that accused Jayprakash S Gabre (37) repeatedly molested the girl between May and July this year when she came for the classes. The accused used to touch her inappropriately. Fed up of the constant abuse, the girl opened up to her parents after which a complaint was registered with the Virar police station.
Police said that tutor has been charged under section 354 of the IPC and also under section 7 and 8 of the POSA Act.
