NCP chief of Nagpur along with his wife and 7 others booked for robberyNagpur: The NCP chief of Nagpur Ajay Patil, his corporator wife Pragatia, their son and six other had been booked for allegedly robbing and threatening a leader of other party on Friday.

Notify that both groups had been clashed during the preparatory meeting of party for upcoming Assembly election of Maharashtra on 27 July.

Shailendra Tiwari lodged a complaint with Police on 31 July against Patil, his wife Pragati, son Shubhankar and six others for allegedly robbing Rs 3,000 from him and threatening him with dire consequences and for chasing him with some sharp weapons.

Police accordingly registered offences under section of 392, 323, 506, 143, 146 IPC and 135 of Bombay Police ACT (BP) against nine persons. However no arrests have been made so far.
