New Delhi: The Supreme Court had stayed the probe into allegation of sexual harassment against a sitting judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court by a former Gwalior district judge on Friday.
The composition of the committee was objected to by the woman judge saying that it included a judge who had transferred her out of Gwalior. The committee had been set up by the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court.
A bench of SC which was headed by Justice JS Kehar had also issued notice to the high court judge and the registrar general of Madhya Pradesh High Court.
