Delhi Court to pronounce verdict in 2010 Dhaula Kuan gang-rape case

New Delhi: The judgment in the 2010 Dhaula Kuan gang-rape and abduction case of a call centre executive will be given by a trial court on today.

The order was reserved for September 22 after the conclusion of final arguments in the case on September 8.

The five accused in the case – Shamshad alias Khutkan, Usman alias Kale, Shahid alias Chhota Billi, Iqbal alias Bada Billi and Kamruddin – are facing the trial for gang-rape, criminal intimidation and abduction.

The incident which took place when the victim was walking home with her friend after her shift ended. The five accused abducted her, took her to Mongolpuri and then gang-raped her, the police claimed.
